The choice of soleplates:

Alfa-jump offers 2 types of soleplates, flat or inclined (the smiley soleplate itself being inclined), with or without spikes.
The choice of soleplate type depends primarily on how to ride the rider.
Some are fans of the flat soleplate, and some of the inclined soleplate.
In all cases, we favored a single inclination per soleplate to maintain a sufficient width to ensure the comfort and stability of the rider.
We have listed below some information allowing you to make your choice.

• Flat soleplate
The flat soleplate facilitates the balance of the rider in suspension (at the beginning of an jumping obstacle, ...).
It is also used by dressage rider when they wear long, almost on tiptoe.

• Flat soleplate with spikes 
The addition of inox spikes accentuates the grip.
It is mostly used for jumping or the horse trials.

• Inclined soleplate
The inclined soleplate facilitates the descent of the heel, which ensures a good position of the leg, and therefore the position of the rider.
This type of soleplate helps to correct the position of riders having a tendency to raise their heels.

• Inclined soleplate with spikes 
The addition of inox spikes accentuates the grip.
This type of floor is very popular in jumping.
The inclination of the soleplate allows the leg to quickly resume its place after the jump and allows the rider to better manage the rest of his course.

• Smiley soleplate
Same features as the inclined soleplate, with a rounded front.
This feature, in addition to the aesthetic side, helps the foot to be perpendicular to the soleplate.

It is possible to change soleplates (moving from flat to inclined soleplates, or vice versa).
